Fresno Metro Ministry is Building Partnerships for Community Well-Being.

Since 1970, Fresno Metro Ministry has actively advocated for the health and well-being of our community.  Join us in in honoring our 45-year history of community action, as we enter a new era of “Learning, Connecting and Engaging to Achieve Healthy People and Healthy Places.”

Serving as a community “convener” is a fundamental part of our history, and our future, as we build partnerships across all identities, traditions and boundaries.  Today, we pay homage to this meaningful history by facilitating new results-oriented partnerships among communities, businesses and institutions that will measurably increase resilience, health and prosperity in our region.  Our efforts are aimed at positively impacting conditions and opportunities for the diversity of people who live and work in Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley.

"Fresno Metro Ministry is such an amazing place to work because we are here to empower others and nurture the skills of our community members to have a voice of their own and create lasting change.  As the saying goes… Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

"There are three things that I love about Fresno Metro Ministry: our team is diverse and driven; our vision and mission are practical; and we are engaged in a network of many personal stories, which together, make up a larger story about Fresno’s advancement. I am grateful to participate in this story."
